The A105 Forged Steel Y Strainer – Class 800 NPT/SW is designed for high-pressure and high-temperature service where strength, durability, and dependable filtration are critical. Manufactured from ASTM A105 forged carbon steel, this Y strainer provides excellent mechanical integrity and long service life in demanding industrial environments.
Equipped with a 316 stainless steel 20 mesh screen, it efficiently removes debris, scale, and solid particles from process fluids, ensuring the protection of pumps, valves, and other downstream equipment. The bolted bonnet design allows easy access for cleaning and maintenance, while the 1/4” stainless steel NPT drain plug provides convenient removal of collected debris without system disassembly.
Built to API 602 design standards and compliant with ANSI B16.34 Class 800, this strainer guarantees reliable operation under severe service conditions. It is available with both NPT threaded (ASME B1.20.1) and Socket Weld (ASME B16.11) ends, providing installation flexibility for compact, high-pressure piping systems.
